Version 1 · Last updated: 5 October 2026 · Operator: Feria Information Systems ("FINDR", "we"), company registration number CS152800726 · Read with the FINDR Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. What this is
- These terms apply when your business posts a haul on FINDR Haul, chooses a driver, pays for a haul or receives goods carried on FINDR Haul. They sit alongside the FINDR Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If these terms and the Terms of Service differ on a FINDR Haul matter, these terms apply.
- FINDR Haul is a marketplace. It connects your business with independent haul drivers who own or operate their own vehicles. FINDR does not carry goods itself. The contract to carry your goods is between your business and the driver you choose. FINDR provides the app, checks drivers and vehicles, collects and holds the price on the driver's behalf, and helps settle problems as these terms explain.
- FINDR Haul is open in selected areas only, starting with Koforidua.
2. Who can post
- Your business must be verified, claimed and active on FINDR.
- The business owner and the business's managers can post a haul, choose a driver, pay and cancel, and can accept these terms on the business's behalf.
- A FINDR field agent or a worker helping your business may post a haul and choose a driver, but cannot pay for a haul, cancel a haul that has been paid, or accept these terms on the business's behalf. When one of them posts a haul, FINDR also sends the business owner the notifications for that haul, including the one to pay.
- You confirm that the person posting has your business's authority to do so.
3. Posting a haul
- When you post a haul, you must describe the load truthfully and fully: what the goods are, how many packs or pieces, their approximate weight and size, and anything the driver needs to know, such as goods that are fragile, perishable or need a covered or refrigerated vehicle.
- You must give the correct pickup and drop-off points, the time the goods will be ready, and the smallest vehicle that can carry them.
- You may declare the value of the goods when you post the haul, up to GH₵ 100,000. The declared value is the most the driver is responsible for if the goods are lost or damaged (section 10). It must be a true value; do not overstate it. Drivers see it before they accept your price or bid. You cannot change it after you post; to change it, cancel the haul and post it again. If you leave it blank or enter 0, it counts as not declared, and the driver's responsibility is limited to the agreed haul price.
- For a haul to someone other than your own business, you must give the receiver's name and phone number. You confirm that the receiver has agreed to receive the goods and to be contacted by FINDR and the driver about the delivery, including by SMS.
- You are responsible for packing the goods so that they can be carried safely, and for any loss caused by packing, a wrong description or a wrong weight.
- Unless your job note says otherwise, you arrange loading at pickup and the receiver arranges unloading at drop-off. The driver checks that the load is safely placed and secured, and may refuse a load that is unsafe or too heavy for the vehicle.
4. Goods you must not send
You must not post a haul for any of the following:
- anything illegal to own, sell or move in Ghana, or stolen or counterfeit goods;
- weapons, ammunition, explosives or fireworks;
- dangerous goods, including fuel or gas in bulk, gas cylinders, chemicals, acids, poisons and other flammable, corrosive or toxic substances;
- drugs, and medicines that need a licence to move, unless you hold that licence and show it to the driver;
- cash, gold, precious stones or minerals, jewellery, and cheques or other documents that can be exchanged for money;
- timber, minerals or other goods that need a permit or licence to move, unless you hold that permit and give a copy to the driver;
- live animals of any kind;
- people, or human or animal remains; and
- a load larger or heavier than the vehicle class you chose can safely and lawfully carry.
A driver may refuse a load that includes any of these. If the driver refuses it at pickup and FINDR's Haul desk confirms the refusal, the haul counts as cancelled by you: you get the haul fee back but not the payment processing fee (section 8.4). If prohibited goods are found after pickup, the driver may stop the trip. Contact FINDR support, or report a problem in the app after delivery, and FINDR's Haul desk deals with it as a problem under section 9 and decides. Either way, you remain responsible under section 12.
5. Price, bids and booking
- You set the price you will pay. Drivers can accept your price or offer their own. You may choose any driver, or none.
- Before you choose, you can see each driver's first name, vehicle, rating, number of hauls, price, pickup time and whether their vehicle has goods-in-transit insurance.
- The most you can pay for one haul is GH₵ 20,000.
- When you choose a driver, you must pay within the time the app shows. If you do not, the booking lapses and the haul opens again.
- Before you pay, the app shows the haul fee, the payment processing fee and the total. That total is the full amount you pay. Nothing is added afterwards.
- The payment processing fee covers the charge made by our payment provider, Paystack, for your payment. It is rounded up to a whole cedi.
- FINDR Points are not earned on hauls, and FINDR credit, points and promo codes cannot be used to pay for a haul.
6. How payment works
- You pay through the FINDR app by Mobile Money or card. Paystack processes the payment.
- FINDR collects the haul fee on the driver's behalf and holds it until it is released to the driver after delivery. Payment to FINDR counts as payment to the driver. FINDR does not pay interest on money it holds.
- Once your payment is confirmed, the haul is booked. You can see the driver's name, phone number and vehicle plate, your pickup code and, for a haul to someone else, the drop-off code. You can follow the vehicle in the app.
- When the drop-off code is entered, FINDR holds the driver's pay for 24 hours. If nobody reports a problem in that time, FINDR releases it to the driver.
- If the same haul is paid twice, or a payment arrives after the booking has lapsed, FINDR refunds the extra payment in full.
7. Pickup and drop-off codes
- At pickup, read the pickup code to the driver only when the goods are loaded and you are satisfied they are on the right vehicle. Giving the code confirms that the goods have been handed to the driver.
- At drop-off, the receiver gives the driver the drop-off code once the goods are off the vehicle and the receiver has checked them. If the receiver does not use FINDR, FINDR sends them the drop-off code by SMS. You can also see the code in your haul and pass it on.
- Giving the drop-off code confirms that the goods were delivered. If something is wrong that could not be seen at drop-off, report a problem under section 9.
- Keep both codes private. Do not give a code to anyone other than the driver at the right moment. FINDR is not responsible for a loss that happens because a code was given out early or to the wrong person.
- After five wrong attempts on either code, the haul locks until FINDR checks it.
8. Cancellations and refunds
- The party that cancels a paid haul bears the payment processing fee.
- Before you pay, you can cancel at no cost.
- If you cancel a paid haul before pickup, FINDR refunds the haul fee. The payment processing fee is not refunded.
- If the driver refuses your load at pickup because it includes goods listed in section 4, the haul is on hold while FINDR's Haul desk reviews the refusal. If FINDR confirms the refusal, the haul counts as cancelled by you: FINDR refunds the haul fee, and the payment processing fee is not refunded. If FINDR decides the goods are not prohibited, the haul goes back to the same driver to carry. Only if the driver still will not carry it does the haul count as cancelled by the driver under 8.5.
- If the driver cancels a paid haul, or does not collect the goods by the end of the pickup time and you cancel, FINDR refunds the full amount you paid, including the payment processing fee.
- If FINDR cancels a paid haul, FINDR refunds the full amount you paid.
- After the pickup code has been entered, a haul cannot be cancelled in the app. Contact FINDR support while the goods are on the way, or report a problem after delivery (section 9).
- FINDR pays refunds to the person who paid, by refunding the original payment, so the money goes back to the Mobile Money number or card that paid. If that is not possible, we pay it in another way we agree with that person. We aim to pay refunds within 7 working days.
- For a "Wholesaler delivers" restock, cancelling the restock order before the haul is paid also cancels the haul. Once the haul is paid, cancel the haul first.
9. Report a problem
- If goods are short, damaged or not delivered, or something else went wrong, report it in the app on the haul within 24 hours of delivery. The business that booked the haul and the shop receiving a restock can both report a problem.
- A report holds the driver's pay until FINDR decides the problem. Give us the details, pictures and anything else we ask for.
- FINDR will hear both sides and look at the trip record, and will then decide to release the money to the driver, refund you, or split the money between you and the driver. FINDR's Haul desk lets both sides know what it decided. We aim to decide within 48 hours of receiving the information we need.
- FINDR's decision is only about the money FINDR is holding for that haul. It does not stop you or the driver from taking any other legal step against each other.
- If you find a problem after the 24 hours, contact FINDR support. We will help where we can, but the driver may already have been paid.
10. Risk to your goods
- The driver is responsible to you for goods lost, stolen, damaged or short while in the driver's care, from pickup to drop-off, except where the loss was caused by your packing, description or loading, by the nature of the goods, or by an event the driver could not have avoided with reasonable care.
- The driver's responsibility for any one haul is limited to the value you declared when you posted it. If you left the value blank or entered 0, it counts as not declared, and the limit is the agreed haul price. This limit does not apply if the driver, or anyone helping the driver, stole the goods or caused the loss on purpose.
- FINDR is not a carrier and does not insure your goods. Insure your goods yourself for any value above the value you declare, and for goods whose value you do not declare. Goods-in-transit insurance is optional for drivers; you can see whether a driver's vehicle has it before you choose, but you should not rely on it.
- If you have a claim for more than FINDR can refund under section 9, the claim is between you and the driver (and the driver's insurer). FINDR will give you the driver's name, the vehicle plate and the trip record to help with a claim or a police report.
11. FINDR's responsibility
- FINDR checks that each driver is approved and that each vehicle has a current roadworthy certificate, commercial insurance and a DVLA sticker before it can take a haul. FINDR does not guarantee the driver's work.
- FINDR is not responsible for the acts or omissions of drivers or receivers, or for goods lost or damaged in transit.
- FINDR's total responsibility to you for any haul is limited to the total amount you paid for that haul.
- FINDR is not responsible for any indirect loss, such as lost sales or profit, or losses caused by delay.
- Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that the law does not allow to be limited.
12. Your responsibilities to FINDR
- You agree to cover FINDR's losses and costs from any claim made against FINDR because you broke these terms or the law, including by sending goods listed in section 4.
- You must not use FINDR Haul to book a driver you own, employ or act with in order to move money or gain a benefit. FINDR may cancel such a haul and suspend the accounts involved.
13. Your information and the receiver's
- We store the hauls you post, the value you declare, the receiver's name and phone number, the pickup and drop-off points, your bids and payments, codes entered, problem reports, and the trip record.
- Before they bid, drivers whose vehicle can carry the load see the load description, the pickup and drop-off addresses, the price and any declared value. Phone numbers and the receiver's name stay hidden until the haul is paid. Then the driver you booked sees the phone number of the person who posted the haul (or the business's phone number), the pickup and drop-off points, and the receiver's name and phone number. The receiver does not see the price.
- Where DVLA requires it, we share trip details with DVLA, including the name of the business that booked the haul.
- You cannot delete your FINDR account while a haul you posted or paid for is booked or in progress, while a payment you started is being confirmed, or while FINDR owes you a haul refund. The app tells you why.
- The FINDR Privacy Policy explains this in full.
14. Suspension, changes and general
- FINDR may pause or stop your business's use of FINDR Haul if you break these terms, for safety reasons, or if we suspect fraud. Hauls already paid are dealt with under sections 8 and 9.
- FINDR may update these terms. We will tell you about the new version at least 14 days before it applies, unless a change is needed sooner for legal, safety or fraud reasons. When it applies, the app may ask an owner or manager to accept the new version before they next post or pay for a haul. You accept it by agreeing in the app or by continuing to use FINDR Haul.
- If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and disputes are subject to the courts of Ghana.
